STG Professor Ruth Rubio Marin and a group of 20 European academics, politicians, policy makers and civil society activists raise awareness about the devastating COVID-19 impact on women

“They have produced four short videos under the title of Women´ s Europe: Voices in Times of Covid.

The experts worry that the needs of women have been overlooked during the pandemic. They also fear that the post-COVID-19 agenda may be designed with insufficient input from women and their needs and priorities.

The videos provide a gender analysis of the Covid crisis, warn about the risk of putting gender equality agendas under the carpet in reconstruction efforts and articulate views about what could be a transformative recovery agenda and a new social contract.”
