Seminar in the framework of the Ursula Hirschmann Lecture Series jointly organised by the HEC Department and the RSCAS

Eminent  biologist of gender and sexuality Anne Fausto-Sterling will give an informal seminar from 10:00-12:00 on Friday 6 November. The seminar is reserved to doctoral and post-doctoral researchers, and will take the form of a discussion around two recent texts by Prof Fausto-Sterling:

  • “Gender/Sex, Sexual Orientation and Identity are in the Body: How did they get there?”, Journal of Sex Research (15 March 2019), pp. 1-27
  • “A Sea of Gender”, unpublished work-in-progress

Both texts will be made available to all who register for the seminar.
